Proteomics

Lynx Bioscience offers the most advanced proteomics services for high content protein analysis. We provide contract research services for high-content protein identification and  quantification from any species in any biological matrix to facilitate translational research. Whatever your protein analysis need is, be the analysis of entire proteomes or quantification of specific proteins, LynxBio has the right solution for you. With our market leading expertise in next-generation proteomics we are a strong partner to accelerate your research and development.

The Lynx Bioscience scientists is ready to support you and we are happy to develop a research plan with you, tailored to your research objectives. Our projects are carried out in our state of the art proteomics facility. Should you wish to implement our methods in your in-house proteomics facility we assist you with method transfer and provide the needed reagents and bioinformatics tools. Depending on your research question LynxBio offers several proteomics platforms for your proteomics needs as described under each sub service section.

Overview

Lynx-Discover Proteome service enables profiling of up to 10,000 proteins per sample across treatments or conditions and identifies significantly regulated proteins. This platform is ideal for studies where the main question is “What happens to my proteome? and to generate the data driven  hypothesis for down stream project approach. Discovery proteomics solutions is a Next Generation proteomics technology for identification and quantification of complete proteomes with mass spectrometry. HRM enables reproducible and precise quantification of thousands of proteins in a single instrument run with data independent acquisition (DIA or SWATH). We offer you several standardized proteomics services  that are available at LynxBio proteomics facility to help meet your particular discovery proteomics needs.

Steps Involved

  • Sample preparation. Protein extraction, trypsin digestion and LC-MS/MS
  • LC-MS/MS : LC-MS/MS using a ThermoFisher Fusion Lumos mass spectrometer.
  • Data analysis: Protein Identification and quantitation with proteome discoverer software.
  • Report generation: PDF/Excel
  • The turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.

Deliverables

Written Report containing details of your samples, our methods and a summary of the data. An Excel workbook containing the detailed qualitative and quantitative protein identification data.
